The shuttles over the passes (transport for ciclists and their bycicle or only luggage too) make the Via Claudia Augusta the easiest Alpine crossing for touring cyclists. Thanks to this service, the bike route in the footsteps of the Romans is also suitable for families and fit pensioners. There is a shuttle
(1) over the Fernpass,
(2) from Landeck or Pfunds to the Reschenpass,
(3) from Trento, the capital of Trento, to the Valsugana,
(4) from Valsugana to the high valley Tesino,
(5) to the Croce D'Aune pass and
(6) to the Praderadego Pass.
Shuttle 1 + 3-6 must be booked and paid 24 hours in advance (see below).
Shuttle 6 is a public bus and is booked at the ticket machine or bus driver. Because there are only a few bikes at the carrier of each bus rear, it is advisable to be there a little earlier.
